so many risk lives and lose it
push too close to the edge
and there are those
whom worked and gave what
they could to provide to others
Dying....

I live in a country
there are no snipers
no child soldiers
no death come through
starvation
or no protection
working to provide

we once had this a hundred
years ago and more
blankets filled with smallpox
and cheap disposable labour

but not now

now we have plant closures
and everything for sale from
China.. that if you are lucky
will last you a third of your
lifetime or year if you dont
touch it Use it
and will never be an heirloom

not that thats bad
Ive inherited a pair of three
hundred dollar FILA basketball
shoes I have to use them
for my day to day
kills me and now they are ruined
Silk slippers for a wolf hunt
but I have nothing
else

Listening to LINKIN PARK
told to not think Analytical

and yet what is there
but to ponder>
to look at our past
