tired..mind rambling..car Reo is not there
ice was cut from lake not piped in.. I meant house where people lived close by The ice house was just four corners falling in then but you get the idea.. Our rains and snows from distant georgian bay all seasons crumbles houses..caves them in then with snow weight...rains fall in windows broken with vandals shingles blown off sunbaked into crumbs..water filling up wood and rotting..time is fast there.. Land was only settled then with free land grants in eighteen fifties..read Susan Moodies Roughing it in the Woods a great canadian book..she was a great writer!!
her stories happen seventy miles south of us and more...in the day!!
