like wingless souls
from lost and found

bound between the
gusts
crush
the shelter
cramped
with vacant
wait

cinderelle
hips
and a split lip

a mouth plumped
like a store
bought apple

rouge red
like the lights
and ghost cars
jakebreak jumbo
mumbo

and that wind
enveloping
the draft
where the
wind whistles
and the rain
comes in

"wanna try my lipgloss"
she smiles through
bravado and youth

somewhere a train
climbs the grade
and moans its farewell
