snowing

always snowing
peaceful..
cold.
the brutality of the winds
settled for the moment
the minus we are not
used too...nor ever were..
we just used our textiles
moved from furs
From wood
to coal
to oil
and gas...
hoping on our modern
grids to keep us
warm
safe
oblivious..

happily..

the snow falls
jump out for a smoke
a moment
then inside
the winter
the years before
1800's forgotten..
